'05 C230K with Bi-Xenons?

'05 C230K with Bi-Xenons?
Is my dealer ****ting me? I gave him four possible colors of the C230K that I wanted... On the condition that it had the lighting package, auto tranny, sunroof package, and entertainment package, and he now tells me that the xenon makes it rare. He says that they have only been able to find ONE and that's in AZ (I'm in Cali). Does anyone know about the rareness of an '05 with every option but navigation? Thanks.

The dealers all told me the same thing when I was buying my car. There was supposedly only one black w/xenon, sunroof and cd changer west of the Mississippi at the time of my inquiry, and it wasn't in Cali. Then I got lucky I guess and one came off the docks....
But yeah, xenon apparently isn't a popular option on the C according to the dealers....why that is I have no idea, cuz I love my xenons!

Another possibility is they have too much non-xenons in-stock and they know those are bad sellers. So, they will try every possible way to swing you into getting a non-xenon. Stick with what you want and ask them to custom order one for you.

They would prefer to drop you into an inventory vehicle. But, if you don't mind waiting, order what you want and they should give you the same type of discount for an ordered '05 as a stock '05.

You can also get it later if you can't wait. The only draw back is you don't get the lens washer on the bumper....but I don't care since I'm in CA. I probably can take out the windshield wipers too.

Oh another option is to see if the dealer have one on order for the dealership in which you can alter the packages before porduction. There is a certain code in which you can distinguish whether you can change it or not. It could shave a couple of weeks. Your dealer should be able to help you with that information. My dealer has 4 that I can alter all ariving in mid September.

I was going to order mine with everything except the navi, but luckily my dealer pulled some strings and got into the wherehouse where the recently delivered cars were being stored. But definately you should get what you want...it's your car and you should enjoy it

i was told another story. i was told C-class are usually not ordered with comand navigation and fold down rear seats. the saleman had no problem with the bi-xenon headlights.

Usually they are never ordered with command or navigation. It is just not that popular on C's.
