Need help finding a front bumper euro plate holder

Hi all,

Just waned to know if any knows where I can get a euro style licence plate holder to go on the fron bumper of a 230 coupe. I have the plate and plate frame, but since the front bumper is not flat I need the appropriate holder that is moulded accordingly and painted to match the color of the car.

I've seen pics of europeean cars with it and assume that they come with the car since front plates are mandatory there. I've asked around at dealerships in Montreal and Toronto but they say they cannot order them.

Does anyone know if I can find these in North America or can anyone in Europe tell if these are available from your dealerships?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanx,
Mark

European License Plate holder

Hello everybody . I did a search on the forum and I was able to find the factory Euro plate holder part number which is 203-885-07-81, just in case anybody else wants to know. The guy on the thread "Lockbuster" mentioned that he had to order it from Germany because it isn't available in the US... How in the world do I order parts form germany? I went to http://www.mercedes-benz.de/ but besides not understanding a word , I don't believe you can order parts online. Any ideas I currently have a plastic one that came with my customized euro plate and it doesn't look as good as It could. Thanks

Maybe Steve can get you one. www.mbenznl.com Or you can go to the British web site and locate a dealer there. At least the language barrier will be at a minimum.

I'll try sending an email to Steve, because the British Websites won't allow you to order it online either ... what's up with that? In MBUSA you pretty much can buy anything.

Not right of the bat. You might want to ask here (German MB forum). There someone might be able to get you the partnumber, cost, etc.

Yes it is... to be honest with you, I've never seen an european license Plate Holder for the rear, I am using my american license Plate without a plate holder, so I am assuming the same thing applies for the European ones. Who knows Regardless even if there was one, we couldn't put it there... the butts of our cars are too smal

the european license plate holder for the rear replaces the tray we have right now.... its just a longer area where the license plate goes but the whole tray is the same size...BrabusCclass has one....

Hey that plate holder is the same one I am using right now for the front of my car. I could have sworn it didn't fit on the rear though Does BrabusCclass has a coupe or Sedan? I've never paid close attention to the Coupes, but probably that area in particular is larger than for the Sedans

Ohhh No Wonder Well If that's what I have to do in order to have those plates on the rear then nevermind... Though I still want the front license plate holder... the original that is, I already have the one from licenseplates.tv which is ok, but it could look better. I'll try to get pics.
