Interior Vinyl Cleaner/Protectant ?

Any recommendations for cleaning the interior vinyl surfaces like the dash ? I heard some of the cleaners/protectants available are alcohol based and can dry out the vinyl causing cracks. What has been your experience ?

Vinyl/Plastics/LeatherCleaner

WIth leather and vinyl, one can use Zaino Brothers Leather Cleaner and the Conditioner for both. It has a good SPF factor. I just purchased some 303, which also has a high SPF factor and will start using it on the vinyl and dash and save the Zaino for the good stuff (www.zainobros.com) Great Stuff!

Thumbs down Shine

Sorry, but

I can't do shine in an interior, there's enough glare in a car. I don't care for the armour all effect, but each to his own. I like to use product that cleans and protects but doesn't shine.

I'll leave the shine for the exterior.

I've used Vinylex which is by the makers of Lexol. Seems to be ok, doesn't shine.

Klasse plastic and rubber cleaner and protectant brings the color out without making it shine. Works especially well on the dash.

I also don't know why people like a shine on their interior surfaces -- to me it looks cheap. The car doesn't come this way, why do you want to add it? (Just my opinion).

I've used M-B Interior Care several times on the vinyl parts of my seats, but not on the dash. It does a great job of cleaning light soil and doesn't leave a shine.
