For all those with AMG brakes

For all those who converted to AMG brakes, I have a question. I have a 03 sedan and just had the AMG brakes installed. Can you replace the rear brake kit (rotor/caliper) with the front brake kit? It looks a lil bit weird with the huge rotor and the huge caliper in the front and the tiny rotor and caliper in the front. (don't get me wrong, I love my AMG brakes, but just wondering if it is possible).

i dont think so. you can buy the rear brake kit from the C32.

btw it would be a waste of money. 80% of your braking power is in the front anyhow.

even if the bolt patterns were the same there would be no mechanism for the parking brake...(i wish i could say EBRAKE; thats one thing they should fix in the next GEN...we need an EBRAKE!!)

white and whiter
you can always upgrade to the E55 brakes which uses 6piston up front and 4 piston in the rear. I think someone in Taiwan has them done, but you would need to get the wheels for the E-class as well.

for you the C32's rear brake would work the best for you.

You wouldn't want to slap on C32 front brakes on the rear axel anyways. Its important to maintain proper front/rear brake bias because if the rears lock before the front you'll have unstable handling. If you simply just placed the C32 fronts on the back, you'd have too much back braking force by default.
