Yes, I may change the side mirrors or the blinkers only. Also if I want to change the "B" door pillar cover to carbon fiber cover, do I have to remove the door panel?

Fold mirror against door and release clip. The housing will now pull off. For more in depth instructions please use our search feature.

What do you mean bend the mirror? Do you mean to fold the mirror all the way to the window? Is it gonna break?
How about the door pillar? Do I need to remove the door panel or just the plastic window frame of the door panel?

Many of us have removed the mirror housings and there are pictures on here, just search the forum. The mirror will not break when you fold it in toward the window. There will be plenty of pressure against it but it is OK. Do a search for username "SAPRISSA" as he has posted pictures.

i have pics but send me an email: citronc76@aol.com.
push the mirror towards the back of the car to the point it is perpendicular with the door. the is a silver clip in the frame which need to be pull away from the housing. use a small flat head screwdriver for this. once the clips has been unlocked from the housing, it will slide right out. i took pics of my old frames when i put on my electronic folding mirrors. ive sent these pics to several members to assist in removing the housing. let me know if you need these pics sent to you.
