Part Number Requests
My friend had a serious accident yesterday and his car is in the stealership for repair. However, the stealership cannot locate the parts number for the following items:
1. rear axle headlamp range adjustment sensor
2. front axle headlamp range adjustment sensor
3. wiring harness for rear axle headlamp range adjustment sensor
4. wiring harness for front axle headlamp range adjustment sensor
5. Front SAM control module with fuse and relay module
Based on these information, we are guessing those are the levelling sensors for his BiX. Can any body help us out? Thanks!

You are right with items 1-4 for the BIX. The dealer can't locate part numbers?? What is up with that?? Consult another dealer, as I would not trust them to get the job done right.

It's not my problem, sunman. I'm just the messenger to help some lost soul find his answer. He's too depressed right now to become a member of the forum. However, we would really appreciate if you could take your car apart and locate the PNs for us! Just kiddin' :p

My friend got t-boned on the side by a big honkin' truck and his car is practically dead. The other party's insurance said that they will only pay to fix his car though. So, we're stuck with the only stealership in town.

Our experience with MBUSA resulted in the following comments:
"Dude, you must be kidding me. They're even more ignorant than the frigging stealership"
Why don't you leave us alone and go back to your imaginary world? Thank you.

There is a screen in EPC in the electronic section that lists the parts needed for the auto levelling feature...that is how that sceen is titled...if the dealership can't find that YOU REALLY NEED TO DRIVE FURTHER THEN 50MILES to get your car to a real dealership as I myself wouldn't trust that dealership at all anylonger.
Tell them to look at submenu (screen) 215 in group 54...just to start with...
greetingz,

i agree with that. i dont care how far away the next dealer is. if they cant look up parts imagine what they might be like trying to install them.

99% of the time I ask the parts counter for parts, they just reply back "please tell us your vin number" or " I can't find that part" The reason they want a VIN is that it filters out parts not belonging to your car. I order parts that were not in my car to begin with so it is very difficult to order parts. I took matters in my own hand and ordered a Electronic Parts Catalog. Not, I get any part I want.
