Personalized Vanity/Custom License Plate / Tags for W203/CL203 thread

The only thing that would make it doubley illegal is the fact that (at least in Cali), you are only allowed to have 6 lights total (headlights, parking lights, fog lights). Anything beyond that is a "fix-it" ticket. If the sidemarker emmits a clear/white light, that draws more attention for a "fix-it" ticket (even though the light is not that bright). If you couple that with not having an orange reflector in the front, that could be seen as a double fix-it (although most likely only sited for the extra white lights).
I used to have a secondary set of fogs on my MX-6 (10 years ago) and got a ticket because I had my headlights, corners (which were also the blinkers), OEM foglights and PIAA ION yellow foglights on at the same time.

Nope. Not saying people should remove the bulb, but just clarifying that you could technically roll with a clear/white light in the sidemarkers and it wouldn't be any worse of a violation than having the clear sidemarkers w/ amber bulb. So just wanted to make sure people understood that it's the reflector, not the light, that makes it illegal.

And yeah, I'll ask the tech and see if he'll do it. Not really sure what he'll say though, guess it really depends on if he needs pocket change. We're obviously not an exhaust shop, but he'll probably have the tools to do what's necessary.

I am wondering the same thing. I have green plates and the numbers are getting a bit faded since it hasn't been taken care of. I'm afraid of going to the RMV and returning home with red plates lol.

I was wandering my mind looking for a license plate no to special order (I know have a regular one, YE-350) And i can use 6 letters, Any ideas?
The ones i have thought of wich i'm not sure of..

[C2DRTY] (My car is almost always clean, but the point was C-2-30, Cee-to-thrdy, but no room for th)

And that's about it XD They are all kinda lame, but still kinda .. i dunno..

I've heard of quite a few instances where cops wrote the wrong license number on a ticket and the owner never had to pay because it didnt' go through teh system. With customized plates, owners wont' be so lucky....too easy to remember/spell. But it might be worth it b/c those plates are looking pretty good.
