2004 C320 Sport - Buying Advice

The C320 has only 60K miles on it, has a clean title and appears to be super clean, has a maintenance history and comes with a new set of Michelin Pilot Sports as well as new brakes front and back.
Seller will let the car go for $5300.00
THOUGHTS?
Many thanks in advance, your input is as always greatly appreciated.
Nice looking car. Maybe a bit above PP market bit it could looks like it might be worth it. Personally, I’d prefer a 2005 face lift model but this is better than a 2006 or 2007 with the potential balance shaft issues.

Actually, the price in my area (CA) is right on the money according to BlueBook.
The low miles and manual transmission (which my son has to have) makes the car a bit more valuable IMO. Stick Shift cars are very hard to find around here within my budget.
YES, I agree about the face-lift model, but for a first car for my Boy, I am sure this will do. Especially with these low miles and this clean. And not having to worry about the balance shaft issue is definitely a PLUS.

Another plus for the face lift models is that it’s much easier to add AUX In ($30 cable). That was important to my 17 year old when we bought to 2005 C240 4Matic.

It is a SPORT model, I decoded the VIN and it has the sports suspension on it. I do not believe that it has aftermarket suspension or cut springs.

My current daily driver is a 2007 W211 facelifted E350. As I do certainly, as most, prefer the facelift, I did not hate my 2003 E320.
So based on the condition of the vehicle and the low miles, this should still be a good buy.
Assuming you all agree?

Don't let better (i.e. a facelifted version) interfere with getting something that your son should enjoy driving for several years.

Car is located in Southern CA, I am in Sacramento, Northern CA. So, a buddy of mine who lives in Long Beach did check the car our for me and made the deal. ALL is in good working order, and the vehicle is as described. A couple of small cosmetical issues need to be addressed (Couple of nicks on the rear bumper as well as some scrapes on the bottom of the front spoiler, most likely from getting in and out of the driveway), which will be taken care off by another friend who owns a Body Shop.
My Buddy will drive the car up here, as soon as this COVID-19 thing passes, hopefully soon.

VERY EXCITED!

Needs a good detail job which Junior and I will take care of tomorrow.
Car came also with a Bluetooth phone connector, plugs into the cigarette lighter AC Outlet and works pretty well.
Needs to have a few issues addressed, like a missing front fender well plastic splash guard, but I guess these are all minor details.
Overall, pretty happy with the purchase.
