I'd start off at the Motorola's Phone Comparison site/ Thill will allow you to see the differences.
Off the top of my head, here is a short list of the main differences.
The V60 has (over the Timeport):
New Motorola User Interface
Voice recognition
Voice Activated Shortcuts
Voice Recorder
External Caller ID Display
2 Way SMS messaging
Built in FM Stereo
Larger Phonebook (400 Entries)
Date Book

A note on the built-in FM stereo, you need to buy a special headset from Motorola to use the radio features. The headset works as stereo headphones, and also as a handsfree headset for your phone.

JKDBENZ - Graduating soon in a bad economy....I NEED A JOB!!! any advice???
If you've been thinking of doing a graduate degree sometime, consider doing it now. That's what I did, after finishing my B.Sc. in a recession about 20 years ago...

I have the Motorola V60g. One of the best cell phones on the market. It is expensive but worth all the $$$$. The only reason i wen't with the V60g was the GSM and the 1900 hz frequncy it has. I can use it Europe since i go there often. It also look's coool.
v-60
i have the v-60 too- it is more advanced- the time port is basically a star tac design that has been around forever. it is small, compact and futuristic looking- and i get great battery life out of the extended battery and usually great signal strength. by the way i didnt get it with my car- they wanted way too much for it... so i got it seperately
so far it has been the best phone i have ever used

Mike T,
thanks for the advice but i'm trying to avoid school for awhile. i hate school and think its just asymetric information. i'm hoping i can bypass the whole MBA thing with a CFA instead. besides most grad schools want some kind of work experience. oh well, screwed!!
