Fuse #8 blows immediately when I replace it.

any suggestions where to start with this? I’ve already checked all the other fuses and they are fine.

apologies if this is a repeat of an old thread I couldn’t find looking through for the last three hours.

hey bro had the same problem with my cigarette lighter it kept blowing the fuse too for no reason

Cig plug still works.

# 8 Is one of the three fuses in the Alarm circuit
# 9 and #41 are also in that set.

Had to have the wire near the battery replaced. The wire coating had worn off between the alarm and the cabin after eighteen years. Everything works fine now.

Is there a chance you can show me where the wire is located?
I am fighting a similar issue with the StarDAS giving me an error of a broken wire on my alarm circuit.

Just unplug or replace the siren and you will be done

I have traced the issue to the alarm bulb, the wires, connector and bulb will have to be replaced.
Future project when the weather calms down.
