.

the spoiler hasn't really been installed yet...it requires 24 hours of immobility for proper installation ...i currently have a #2 spring pad in the rear, but i'll be replacing it with a #4 pad to try and raise the rear a bit to better match the front fender gap.

hey neal...yeah you're right, the C55 OEM spoiler (part #B6 688 3010) that i have does look different from the one on the actual C55. i wonder if the spoiler i got was some type of new accessory spoiler for the W203? it look like the main difference is that my spoiler has wider trunk coverage...much like the carlsson rs spoiler. actually...after checking out the pamphlet and install instructions, it seems that the spoiler i have is considered an accessory spoiler for the W203 and NOT the C55 spoiler...sorry for the confusion.

i paid $313 for the spoiler and $120 to get it painted. the install instructions are very simple. the oem piece comes with super adhesive tape already attached to the underside of the spoiler. the install requires an ambient temp not exceeding 68 degrees F for 24 hours...the car should also not be moved for 24 hours and washed for 48 hours.

yeah good point. BIX would just be a plus. sweet thing about you retrofitting it on you still have the washers and you'll have auto leveling as well. i like the washer doors on the cars, or atleast on mine. for 03 and up atleast you can tell who had BIX from the factory and who didnt.

yours still does look great without the BIX.

but with BIX it will look awesome!

Hoehn MB in Carlsbad

hey frank, i ordered the spoiler from Hoehn MB in Carlsbad, CA...the retail price for the spoiler is $398, but since Hoehn sells at a discounted price, anyone can purchase it for $313.

xxbenzc230kxx, the part # for the sport spoiler is #B6 688 3010. i don't know what the part # is for the actual C55 spoiler and how much it costs. i'd try contacting steve for the part # because I believe he's selling them.

hey frank, i don't think they ship...something about being able to sell at a discount only if you pick up...but i'd call them to confirm....they're actually very helpful and friendly at the parts desk (ask for lynn- she's very nice and helpful)...unlike like most other dealerships i've spoken to.

Hey Frank,

I'm trading in my vehicle in January for an AMG. Are you interested in my BiX? I will sell mine for 500 with PIAA bulbs. I just got them from Steve in late July, so by the time I get rid of them, they would only have been used for 4-5 months.
