Silver Colored Amber Bulb Manufacturers
Are there other manufacturers of silver-colored amber signal lamps, other than Sylvania?
The amber turn signal bulbs in the Xenon headlamp assembly on my '05 C320 are bulb number 2357A, which is not available as a Sylvania SliverStar bulb.
The rear turn signal lamps are bulb number PY21W and are available as 7507AST. Sylvania also has a $5 rebate on many of their lamps.

Thanks for the information. The Philips Silvervision is also only available for the rear PY21W lamp, not the front 2357A lamp.

Let me know if you find some silver 2357s, I've been looking for those as well and the only ones I can find are the Stealth bulbs for $30 a pair.

Thanks for the information.
Stealth Auto (310) 474-3834 will not have the 2357A bulbs for 5 weeks. They are $29.95 and shipping is currently free.
The Solaris Invisibulb (212) 981-4150 does not list the 2357A bulb on their site. I have been unable to contact them.

Actually, the PHILIPS SilverVision PY21W bulbs are availble in the US from
AM BULBS in Santa Clara, CA through EP Importers, LLC.
Go to AMBulbs.com
I think they have / had a special for these at $19.95 + shipping.
The other web sites I found these PHILIPS SilverVision bulbs were all in the UK or mainland Europe. Prices were similar, with some offering FREE international shipping. Of course, it would take a week or two longer.

The Solaris 2357A Invisibulb (212) 981-4150 will be available in 3 weeks at $20. They sell a set of six for $50. I have signed up for an E-Mail notification for when this bulb is available.

Just make your own. Go to your local auto parts store and buy a can of silver spray paint (one that will hold up to medium heat) and tape off a small strip of the bulb and spray away. Costs about $4 for the paint and since you are using the existing bulbs that's all you have to pay. I did it to all the amber bulbs in my CLK about a year ago and haven't had a problem yet.

The Sylvania SilverStar bulbs for the '05 rear turn signals showed up today, just five days after they were ordered! Free shipping too!
The attached images are of the rear lamp assembly with the SilverStar bulb installed and of the bulb holder, with the SilverStar installed and the amber bulb removed.

i have the silver star's in the front of my car. they look great in the BIX housing indicators. but i have the silvervision in the rear. they are silver with no blue, yet still blink amber. and really make the 05 taillights look great.

agreed! i tired to do the silver vision in the front but the front indicators require dual filament, for some reason. anyhow i couldnt get the silvervision to work up front. i bought the silver stars and am really happy with the combo. it wasnt intentional the combo i got, but im very pleased with it.

Doug, should I get these before Steve installs my Bi-X ? I mean, would it be easier to put them in as the headlights are still off the car ? I would guess so... I should hurry up & order a pair.

its up to you. honestly to install the indicator bulbs it is soo easy. the base comes out and they are easy to put in and replace so its up to you. i would put them in when steve installs them just to get it done though. not that putting them in after the fact will be hard, i would do it just to have them done.

do you have a close-up pic of how that bulbs (Sylvania Silver Star 2057) looks in the daytime inside the light housing ? I've probably seen it a hundred times when I look at your car, but not knowing what it was, just said "cool !"
and during night, is there any hint of blue ?
