After two weeks, my H/K sound system is broken...

I picked up my car a little over two weeks ago, and the sound system (the H/K one in the entertainment package) was working well and it sounded great (aside from the occasional distortion on some songs). Today, I was driving my car in the morning and at lunch and it was doing fine and sounding great. I parked it after lunch, and then when I came back to my car a few hours later, there was no sound. I thought that the volume had just gone down, and I tried to turn it up using the steering wheel and then the main control--no luck. I next tried changing the discs in the changer--no luck. So I pulled over and turned off my car, took out the magazine from the changer and restarted my car--nothing. The radio display is there, the CD display is there, but there is absolutely no sound. When I press the CD Changer button, it now tells me "No CDC". It also sounds like the CD changer is just cycling through discs too. As for the in-dash single CD, it seems like it is playing the disc (complete with times and all), but just with no sound. Also, when I press the sound settings (the one that takes you to Bass/Treble/Surround/Standard/Speech), it no longer gives me the option of changing it to surround, standard, or speech. I have no clue what's going on. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but now my car says "Telephone Off" on the on screen display, I thought that it used to say "No Telephone" or something to that effect.
Could it be that my system just needs to be reset? (I tried the reset in the sound settings and the fader/balance settings as well.) Or my CD changer went bad?
I'm going to take it to my dealer tomorrow and have them check it out. (Maybe I can bargain for them to put in the AUX for me since they'll already be checking out that "area".)
And, the following may seem defensive, but ever since the debacle following my last post "complaining" about MB build quality I feel that it's warranted...
For those that like to cry "ABUSE!" and blame those "punk kids." I did not abuse the sound system. I kept it at a moderate volume at all times. Nor did I keep pressing or playing with the buttons, most of the times I would just let the CD's play.
For those that like to cry "NEWB!!" Like I said in my last post, this is not my first Mercedes, nor is it my first with the upgraded sound option (I had the Bose option on my old C280 Sport), nor is it my family's first MB. I think I know what I'm doing... I just don't know what's wrong with it now.
Thanks for the help.

It sounds like your system is confused. When the dealership connects the analyzer, there should be error codes that may indicate the source of the problem. Please post these error codes.
