received the welcome package from MBUSA after 4 months?
I think it's funny so I figure I will share.
I just received the welcome package (letter) from MBUSA yesterday. The one that comes in a nice cover stock envelope in silver and a MB collection catalog inside.
The first line is something like this. "Welcome... blah blah blah... We are sure that it meet and exceeds your expectation (meaning the car). blah blah blah."
I was laughing out loud when read that since my car has been in the shop since March 11th and just got a call from the service rep that the "correct" part will arrive on May 15th.

My wife took mine from the mailbox last week and handed it to me, "what's this thing from Mercedes?" 
I figured it was some marketing B.S. so I pulled out the letter and read out loud in a serious tone: "We regret to inform you your Mercedes Benz vehicle is being recalled for serious safety issues relating to the brakes, transmission, rear-end, engine, doors, wiper fluid and hood emblem". I had her "going" until I got to the hood emblem part.
She's too funny...

i receive mine 3 days ago...my car arrived on 12/feb.....
well..maybe the package has to be custom-made? with options you want...in the color you want...

I guess I wasnt the only one to receive their little welcome booklet 3-4 months after purchase. Nice envelope - the stuff inside seemed useless - with outdated catalogue.

Well, it's the thought that counts, you know.
Yeah, I got mine about 4 months later as well.
I also just got a "thank you for taking your car in for warranty repairs" postcard for the sunroof problem that I had in October.

i got mine six months after i got my car, i thought it was one of those "thank you for buying a ______(fill in car brand), here is your free gift catalog, pick any one item and we will send it to you for free, this is to show we appreciate your business," like the one my brother got for his lexus is300. But after excitedly ripping the freakin envelope, it was just a regular catalog :o, lol i didnt even get any use out of the envelope... but it had nice pictures though, i'm thinking of getting a car cover, etc...

Apparantly they mailed all of these out on the same date because I just got one as well.
The catalog is from last fall/winter but with a new cover page. Which is odd because about a month ago I got a completely different, updated catalog in the mail.

I also just got mine Tuesday, though I've had the car since 1/30. Anyway, I looked inside, saw the catalog with useless expensive MB logo stuff and tossed it. Didn't even read the letter.

Were are the chocolates?
After purchasing a Breitling watch, I received a nice welcome package within a month. Not only that, I receive a box of chocolates and a new catalog every Christmas. I wonder if we will be getting this from Benz. The chocolates are pretty good, I must say.

C230 brilliant silver, panorama sunroof, auto, everything but leather.
I bought mine in December and I just received the same welcome packet. It seems kind of ridiculous that it is mailed so late!!!
