Coolant mixing with engine oil w203
We removed the engine from the chassis ,disconnected timing cover and engine oil pan to verify the cause of coolant mixing with the engine oil.
On removing the timing cover, we noticed one of the timing cover rubber seal missing.
The missing timing cover rubber seal was found trapped into the water jacket.
The seal had swollen and pressure from the coolant pump pushed it out of its position resulting to the coolant seeping through the joint/gap into the engine oil pan.
The oil cooler rubber gasket had hardened and flattened contributing to timing cover rubber seal getting swollen.
