Control module on the driver's door is dead
All the electronic functions on the driver's door of my 2006 Mercedes-Benz C280 are lost. I checked the fuses but they are all good. Then I went to the local mechanics, I was told that the control module is dead but they cannot get it fixed because reprogram is needed. Now I have to go to the dealership to get it replaced and reprogrammed. Does anyone know roughly how much will it cost?

You're probably looking at a few hundred bucks. If you're the DIY type, see if you can purchase the module and swap it out yourself after they program it. Knowing the dealers they probably won't allow for that.
I'm unaware of any version coding required for those modules. The dealer often won't tell the truth either. If you want you can roll the dice with an eBay unit. Just make sure the PN is the same or compatible.
