Does anyone have pix of how to remove/install the mirror glass? I can't seem to find the thread that has the pix of the removal/installation directions.

thanks!

easiest way IMO is take off the mirror housings. then you can get to the glass with ease. fold the mirror housing towards the rear of the car. there is a silver metal clip that need to be pulled away from the housing to unlock it. slide the housing off, remove glass, place new glass on, put back on cover.

yes, the mirrors remove the same way!

the coupe and sedans share the same housing and mirrors. fold the mirror towards the rear. its tough and will feel like you might break it but trust me you wont. once the mirror is folded towards the rear fo the car, look on the outer edge of the mirror housing. the curved side. the metal mirror frame is gold looking. the silver clip is along the outer edge of this frame. take a small flathead screwdriver to unlock the clip from the housing. once this is done the housing slides right off.

is it a single clip? and if so is it the one lil clip that's hiding behind the gold metal frame part on the bottom?

last question: if so, how the hell do you unclip it?

thanks!

Yes, it is a single clip. After bending the mirror towards the back of the car as far as you can, pry the clip away from the cover with a flat screwdriver, then slide the cover off. There is one caveat, though: the clip tends to get stuck in this position, so before replacing the cover pry it back. When you see it, you will know what I am talking about.

1st picture see the silver clip. that is what locks onto the mirror housing.
2nd pic you can see the slot where you will put the flat head screw driver in order to unlock clip from housing.
3rd pic is another view of the silver clip which holds the housing on. 4th pic is a view of folding the frame which you will have to do in order to remove the housing.

last two pics you can see the mirrors folded. i have electric folding mirrors so the frame which you have to move yourself will look a little different but this gives you an idea. its the same concept whether it be standard mirrors or electronic folding mirrors.
