ok then no unless you do the tape hack. For the tape hack you have to take the radio out and open it up to find some wires on the board to tap into and do some other crap. of course the tape player will no longer work.

I just did this and had a heck of a time getting the part number, diffing through this thread so to help its PN: A 210 440 50 05, Once installed remember you have to hold the CDC to get it to work! Easy install!

Not to bump a old thread but, I don't want to start a new one, my car is prewired for the phone, but I can't seem to find the hole and when I hold down cdc I get aux active.

Where to buy cable from (ONLINE)
Just wanted to pass this great website along where I ordered my cable from. This thread is quite long and can be difficult to look through if all you want to know is where to buy the appropriate "harness" for the aux input.
As far as I could tell, most people who have done this mod have simply gone to a mercedes dealer's parts department. Well, now there is a definitive online vendor who sells the cable.
Two days ago I purchased the harness from World Impex, see link:
http://www.worldimpex.com/parts/merc...es_783090.html
I was very impressed with their service as I ordered the cable on Saturday and received it today (wednesday) via UPS (w/tracking). The cost:
$42.50 + UPS ground $9.99 = $51.49
The part was the genuine mercedes part in the packaging as shown in previous posts.
I hooked it up tonight and everything works perfectly.
Hope this helps everyone on the forum who either is too lazy to go into a mercedes dealership for a part (like me), or who is not close to a dealership.
Enjoy!

I went to a audio shop near my house and asked if they had any harnesses for ipod intergration in my 02 c230 coupe. They said that mercedes did not make any harnesses for 02 models and down. Any alternate ways? besides fm transmitter and cassette wire thing

A normal Audio20 like the one in the link below. That isn't for a w203.

Scosche RF remote. I have one on the handlebars of my ZX10 to control my iPod while I'm riding. They're around 50 bucks or so on ebay. Comes with a steering wheel mount to keep it handy.

I want to bump this thread, both to get some new eyeballs on it and to thank the many members who contributed to it over the 6 years it's been running (especially sawloo for starting it....is he still around???). I originally saw this thread linked in THIS OTHER ONE from the 209 forum, and while we did post a lot of helpful info there, this one is still the gold standard for this mod, which I'm sure will be popular for years to come. And let me add that parts.com, which has the cable at a decent price ($11 shipping though? C'mon!), was a real beeyatch to order from because I gave them my VIN. "Your car doesn't have this part" was the first of many messages that added 3 weeks to the process, so be forewarned!
Since I'm avoiding the glovebox for my install of this cable, I wonder if anyone knows the diameter of that knockout hole:

I'll be drilling a hole like that somewhere in my console for my plug.
Oh, and this is somewhat OT, but I saw a post in a 204 forum, HERE, that shows a "tunnel" that goes from passenger side to drivers side:
![](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y282/pjwyss/c63/Mods/IMG00031-20100717-1618-1.jpg)
Too bad our 203/209's don't have that:
