C180 W203 Not Starting
I would be grateful if i could get some help with my parents 2000 C180 W203 which refuses to start and has a list of error codes, below i have listed the symptoms it is showing.
No Gear showing on DIM. I changed the gear shifter for a second hand one off eBay and gear started to show on the DIM and started the vehicle. I took it for a drive and it went back in to limp mode where the gears disappeared off the dim and wouldn’t change change. Also the gear shifts between drive and reverse were aggressive. Once i parked the car and switched is off it never started again.
I have the following DTC’s:
P202B-001 - CAN data from control module ESP. Vehicle speed signal UNREASONABLE (P0500)
P202B-002 - CAN data from control module ESP. Vehicle speed signal UNREASONABLE
P202B-004 - CAN data from control module ESP. Vehicle speed signal UNREASONABLE
P202B-008 - CAN data from control module ESP. Vehicle speed signal UNREASONABLE
P202B-016 - CAN data from control module ESP. Vehicle speed signal UNREASONABLE
P2027-016 - CAN data from control module N47-5(ESP, SPS [PML] and BAS control module, CAN signal interruption (P0600)
P2040-001 - CAN data from control module ESM. Open circuit
P2026-016 - CAN data from control module N15/3(ETC [EGS] control module). CAN signal interruption (P0600)
I have changed all 4 speed sensors and break light and still not starting. I would be really grateful for any help.

The other thing I would check would be to see if you have the updated transmission connector bushing (old versions leak fluid up the wires), and the cam magnet fix (pigtails) instead (leaks engine oil down the wiring into the TCU).

Thanks for the reply.
Even with gear selector disconnected the vehicle is s non start and have no comms with ABS or TCM. Just checke CAN H at TCM and was only 1.4V ABS CAN H was 2.6V.
Also noticed this morning that SRS ABS and other dashlights dont extinguish as you would expect after a self check.
Cheers
