as i want to use this headunit to its full potential hehe, another thing which annoys me about this compared to the E is the E came with a 6 CD changer, would it be possible to have a changer and still use the Audio 10 headunit? or not?

yes. to use the cd changer, you hit the CD button twice and it goes to the CD changer. i had my CD changer hooked up to the Audio10.

I think if you don't get the TV Tuner option, then you can make it a SAT button. I read that somewhere, but now I don't remember where. I have a print-out at home of EURO COMAND, so I can check later tonight. Whatever options (aux, sat, etc...) do come with EURO COMAND I do want to at least get them pre-wired into the unit when Steve installs it, so if another MOD bug bites me, at least the pre-requisite wires will be in place.

I'm surprised more people in the US have not upgraded their Audio30's to Audio10's. After doing a little homework, that's what I was going to do, before deciding on EURO COMAND. You can find Audio10's for about $150 - $250 on the classifieds here and on eBay. Pretty good for a BECKER sound piece, with functional in-dash CD and virtual plug-&-play connectivity with the car and 6CD Changer.

I sound like a commercial for Audio10 !

i liked my Audio10. i miss the RDS. if Euro COMAND can have a SAT button then i wil be upgrading to Euro COMAND, because I want the RDS, the English voice and SAT feature. If it can not have the SAT feature then I will be using the US COMAND. either way my old COMAND will be getting changed out.

Please use this MBWorld famous feature since all your questions have been answered numerous times. Remember that the std config is different between countries and that in Europe you'll have a lot more options.
