I dont give out pricing on the web. But everybody knows my price for the illuminated door sills, so I dont mind posting it in here. USD370/pair. The price includes a pair of OE door sills, light pads, transformer, instructions, custom lettering and shipping to anywhere in NA.

Awesome ! I will be ordering a set for my Coupe sometime soon.
I'm pretty much a rock when it comes to installing things myself. What is the installation difficulty on a scale of 1 - 10. Then I'll add +2 for my ineptness.
Thanks Harris. : zoom:

Guys,
This installation is simple. Once you buy them and receive the instructions, you won't believe how easy it is.
Posting installed pictures soon. But wanted to get you all some pre-installation pics.
Harris's sills come in the original OE Merc Benz wrapping, complete with OE part tages and numbers. In the photos, I show the original sill, custom sill fit-up over original. Notice the wires and connectors already in place and ready to plug in.
Now many of you may wish to get creative and select some "interesting" verbiage for your sills, but I was pretty straightforward, as you can see. FYI, the letters cut out of the plate are not noticeable when you run your fingers along them. It's smooth, as there's a clear piece of plastic (plexi, lexan?) ocer the entire brushed metal strip, so the lettering is not exposed.
Basically snap off the old ones, snap on the new ones, run the wires, plug in the wires, be cool!

Illuminated Door Sills
I purchased my door sills from Harris and that is the only way to go. They are great and worth every penny. I had mine installed by a local installer. It took him about 30 minutes, of course he was familiar with MB. I watched the install, it was easy to do, now that I see how it is done. The sills from Harris are a complete replacement and are 1k times better than the stick ons. Harris is a top professional and I recommend him to everyone. You cannot make a mistake going with Harris.

OK, I'm sold, and 95% confident I can do this myself.
Harris, I'll PM you with details, and special request on lettering.
Thanks to all for installation info. All others who have installed Harris' sills, Please post more pics and detailed instructions on this thread, for a ready reference.

Illuminated Door Sills
I know this topic has been discussed for many times and I'd tried to search but can't find the answer that I want. So, please help me ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Btw, I'm thinking to purchase a set of illuminated door sills for my W203 from www..com. I have some questions about it.
1. Did any of you guys here buy from this site, is it reliable?
2. Is there anyone can post the pics of the daylight and night? I've looked at the site pics but they are not enough for me.
3. How satisfy are you with the product?
Thanks in advance

4mymercedes aren't OEM door sills. They are an add on that gets placed over the door sill. In any case they look very nice......But if you want OEM door sills, I think Harris sells them.

yes it's the one from 4mymercedes. Anyone of you guys have pics of them installed?
Also, I knew that Harris sell them but I just dont wanna spend that much. That's one of the reason I wanna go with 4mymercedes.
Thanks again

OEM illuminted sills are the ones that sit on top of the original sills. they are the same you can buy form the dealer. the modified ones from Harris are OEM sills which are made into illuminated sills. there is a difference. anyways i have the OEM type from MB, and they look awesome at night, hard to see during the day.

Please DO NOT say aftermarket door sills look exactly like the OEM ones, there is a slight difference between them. Noticed the lettering on the aftermarket door sills, not only does the wordings light up in blue, the background also lights up in blue. Also, the light pads they use are LED. The OEM sills will only show the "Mercedes-Benz" lettering in blue and nothing else. The background is not transparent. The light pads are EL.

Mr tigger:
I will give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that even though you have done the "search" on the forum and saw the pictures... you just want to see them on this thread ![Cool](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/cool.gif)

A little foot note to the sills:
Rear door sills are not your "clip ons" you can buy on other websites, they are custom made by Mr Harris from http://www.hartonmotorwerks.com
Front door sills are the OEM Mercedes Benz product
Cost of installing them????... whelp???? I had them both done at the Mercedes Benz dealership, so the cost to install them was actually MORE than the cost of the sills themselves
(they were both installed the "Mercedes Benz" way... which means dismantell half the car and route power from the rear to the front of the vehicle. There is a "flip" side to this though... there are instructions provided and there are many members on the board whom have actually done the work themselves on their own cars... there are even instructions posted how to "do it yourself" out there... Mr Harris from http://www.hartonmotorwerks.com WILL provide you with the set of instructions actually... he even insisted to give them to me... however, in my case, all I asked if the custom rear ones "could be installed the Mercedes Benz way" which Mr Harris responded with a cool "Yes they can!"... though is not price recommended. Time to install by the dealer 3.5 hours each time (3.5 hours for the front, 3.5 hours for the rear... again, had all 4 been installed at the same time, it would have been only 3.5 hours for all 4)
If I had installed all 4 door sills at the same time, then the price of installation would have not been price prohibitive. I basically was charge TWICE to install the sills... the first time for the fronts... and the second time for the rears (as in each instance the car had to be basically dismantelled --panels, etc, etc-- to rout epower for the sills)... I was not able to take pictures of the work as the local M Benz dealership for "legal" reasons would not allow me to...
Door sills illuminate based on the section of the car... front doors illuminate each door independently from each other only if the door is opened, on the rear, sills will illuminate only if the rear doors are opened (same as the front/rear dome light). On the front doors, there are separate ballast for each of the front doors... on the rear one ballast is used for both sills.
The good thing is that they (sills) are ALL there and work beautifly...![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Cheers!

Illuminated Door Sills
I don't understand why it took the dealer 3.5 hours to install. I purchased my door sills from Harris and had them installed by a MB repair shop. This shop handles all body/collision repair for Bobby Rahal dealership, this includes MB, Jaqs, Austin Martin, etc. It took one person 1 to 1.15 hours to install. I watched them do the installation and he could easily do the install in a hour.
I could see a novice taking 3.5 hours or longer. After seeing the install I would have no problem doing it myself, especially with the instructions Harris provides.
Give the dealers have expensive boats payments every month.
