Um, I like it? If I had more money I would have gotten a C55 instead?

Could you be more specific? Like what other cars are you considering, and what particular aspects of the C230K are you wondering about?

Are you really looking to buy one or maybe just looking for good lines to use when selling them?

I looked at the A4 too. I like the exterior styling but preferred the C230's interior to Audi's. Plus, the guys at the Audi dealership were kind of a**holes to one of their junior salesman (looked like he was in training), and that was a turnoff.

I love my C230K SS.

Would they still let you work there if you drove an Audi to work everyday? :p

I test drove both Audi A4 and BMW 325i but fell in love with the C230K. I simply love the look of the car inside and out. I don't drive my cars really hard so handling was not my top priority. Not that the car doesn't handle well but I think the BMW wins in this catagory. What I can say is that this car is very well balanced and feels extremely solid. Its feels very stable at high speeds. The engine has plenty of pep. The HK is the best sounding stock system that I have heard. As you can tell, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Good luck with yours.

Thanks guys for your responces...i am leaning more towards it because i want something different, not another a4 even though I love the car, but i can get an awsome deal on a 230 since i work at a dealer and got all the service and parts for free or atleast a very good discounted price

Hey, now that '05 maintenance is NO LONGER FREE, getting free service with your car is worth over $1500 probably.

The rest of us will have to settle for these pre-paid maintenance plans, which apparently most dealers *still* don't know about. Hopefully in a couple of weeks MBUSA will get the lit out to most dealers so they're not totally confused when I call asking about them.

Depends on what you are looking for

I have the 2004.5 C230K sedan and my wife has the 03 A4 quattro, we swap car
all the times. In terms of handling, A4 is more responsive and has a quicker steering, but at highway speed, it's noisy (no 6 speed for 03). A4 is more spacious inside and has a nicer interior (even compare to 05 230) IMOH.

MB is a higher profile car, everyone knows MB and automatically thinks you are rich or something.... and no one would have thought my 230K sedan is 3k cheaper than the A4 1.8T quattro. Funny once my wife got a parking ticket, the guy who wrote the ticket didn't even know the car is Audi, just drew the 4 overlapping circles as the make of the vehicle.

I had a 00 BMW 323 prior to the 230k, although the 3 series is a better handling car and I like it very much, I don't want to purchase the same car again especially there are at least 20+ 3 series in the company garage, and there is only a few C class there. If I were you, I'd get the 230k, just to drive something different and get a different perspective. Honestly I didn't appreciate A4's handling that much when I had the BWM, not that 230k's handling is poor, it just feels like a different kind of car.

hey man, also take in consideration that there might be a slight bias in this forum.. but otherwise everybody seems to be true to their experiences.
