Felt as a substitute for moleskin works just as well, I've heard.

Debadged 6-Speed '05 C320 Sports Coupe
The installer, which I have discussed performing my C Coupe tint, says that with the curve in the rear hatch, it has to be three sections, with seams along the defroster wires.
Is that true, or can one section give a perfect fit?

i paid $300 for my sedan, full 35% platnum/titanium. sometimes it looks light black, sometimes you can see right through it, and sometimes it is like an absolute mirror.

I'm having mine done in a month or two, and the Coupes that I've seen done by the same tinter are definitely not sectioned or seamed.
if you get a chance, PM me, and I'll give you the phone # for a reputable tinter in SoCal (San Diego) who could definitely answer your questions.

if i remember right my tint is seamed together in the back hatch windo along th defroster lines. the tint shop i go to uses a plotter for the cutting process. the the window tint is great and on the door window it goes all the way to the edge and fits nicely.
