How can I/we use it to our benefit? Someone said it is for the techs use only... I think that was in the information I found in SEARCH.......MB208 or MBTECH208? had the most info and had posted previous reports.. If there is an issue how do we get it checked or resolved??? I read your past post about the fake key issue from ebay... I think you posted on that in 2002. So how do we get things resolved oh wise one.......

You're welcome. I don't know the answer to your question. All I know is that a lot of TSBs are SN specific within a MY range. I guess it would depend on your relationship with your SA. Some are more willing than others. In my most recent case I had an issue with a flashing SRS light, found it on the TSB list, and talked to my SA. He took my car in that very same day and fixed it. When I asked him to check for other TSB issues he showed me the list indicating that no others where applicable at the present time. I guess MB will have a cow if they apply one without having prove of the sympton. Even so he did apply the power issue one a while back without me showing the symptons. Best I can do. HTH

MBtech208 kinda comes and goes on this forum. I don't know about PMs/emails to him and how fast he answers. You might want to try *scorchie* on here. I believe that he is a tech as well.

Decided on my first mod!

ask Harris if you can get them fax'd or maybe mailed to you. Saprissa may still have his copy. they arent that hard to install. my brother and preyx halped out Saprissa installing his at the last meet.

Harris' instructions are good, but not tailored for the Coupe. He is working on making them more user-friendly for us Coupers. But nevertheless, we were able to figure it all out. (Actually, we is a "lot" of people... Doug's bro and Bryan [Preyx] figured out the details !)
In the meantime, see if you can get the illum sills from Harris. You can get them custom made to say anything you want in a variety of colors, but the best thing about them, is that they are OEM Mercedes door sills, and replace your existing sills vice being placed on top of the old ones. When you order them, make sure you specify they are for the COUPE and not the SEDAN, because the wire lengths are a bit different for each.
I can assist with the overall install procedures, but would leave the eletrical splicing and plugging to the resident experts who'll be at the meet.
