Any chance we know the part numbers for the levelers?

There would also be some type of harness to go from the calibration device to the lights. I noted that my lights have space for another harness at the bottom.

E, I have the part number for the auto level clamp that attaches to the swaybar (for AMG or bigger), but not the actualy levelers themself. MB doesn't give out part numbers over the phone, but If I can come up with the part number, I'll give that to you. Since my car has it stock, I could always go in and find out, but I don't know if it's different for coupes vs. sedans.

The BiXenon's aren't that hard to install are they? I need to do mine tomorrow and wondering if I need to worry about anything. Any special tools needed or is it just an easy swap? Please let me know what I need to look forward to. Thanks in advance!

There's a DIY for removing/installing the headlights in the AFTERMARKET/DIY thread.

wow... thats dirt cheap... but used might have scratched / rock-chipped lenses... and replacing the ignitor will be a pain... regardless, thats a great deal if they are functional after the ignitor replacement

A little birdie told me the angel eyes finally arrived for a certain blackout-angel-eye-BiX project in progress for a modded coupe. Hopefully it'll be installed June 2-3 for everyone to see what blackout-BiX looks like on a coupe!

Just wanted to share my recent upgrade to bix. HUGE thanks to Mark Cummins for taking his time to install these. Thanks to Qais for programming them for me as well. I recommend both of these guys.

Just got my BiXenons put in today. Thought I'd post some pics up on here. Now I need to get them set to Xenon = present. Only took about an hour and a half thanks to the DIY install thread on here. The pics for the DIY are great too. No problems at all...

Most dealers will set the Xenon to present if your in for some other service. I had mine done before the lights were even in. Makes you wonder why MB doesn't make them all that way.

thats exactly what i did too.... i had them set before i had them in. and if you ask them to do it when you're already there for something else, they're more likely to do it for free IMO. at least it worked out for me that way.

ACK! Sorry for the slow response. I have been buried at work and planning a vacation and finally getting a chance to get back to the forums and read all the threads.

I bought a 1983 Ferrari Mondial. Grigio (Grey metallic) over red leather. I'm ecstatic and can't wait for it to arrive. Already bought wheels and tires to replace the metric Michelin TRX wheels/tires that are original equipment on the car. And I'll be doing a major service just to be sure that it's been done - hence why I needed to sell the BiX.

I did look at the BiX before sending them along to the (hopefully) happy new owner. They are original equipment and beautiful. I would have loved to have had these on my C230 Coupe, but I needed to divert funds to the new toy. And one of these days, I'll put the Esslinger ported & polished aluminum head onto the 2.5 liter stroker motor for my Mustang SVO and get that project finished. My wife has got the heart of an angel to indulge my indiscretions...

**off topic**

Congratulations on acquiring another Ferrari! With Italy’s finest, the SVO and your Coupe, it is not hard to envision some quality time for you in the garage and on the road. Hmm, which shall I exercise today?!

I’d still like to catch up with ya at Oggi’s to swap tales and check out the new ride..
