As of today I am the owner of a 2004 c320 seams like a fun car, but I have a few questions since I never own a MB in my life. The doors do not unlock unless the key fob is right next to the driver door handle, is this normal for the vehicles to do that? And also the heater to the feet is not working, whenever I set it to heat up my feet cold air come out of the top middle vents. Or if I do a different setting is will shoot hot air on the top vents but still cold air to the feet.

Welcome to the club.

I assume the batteries in your key fobs are working. Is your rear window tinted? If so, the person doing the tint probably fried the antenna amplifier.

Sounds like you may have a broken HVAC stepper motor or two, as well as possibly broken linkages. See posts #18 and #43. This is a rather painful, so be sure to read carefully. Besides replacing all the broken motors, also update the linkage kit. The dealer will have this. Happens to every W203 in that era.

Lastly, your car probably has most of the typical issues that most of us have encountered at some point. Might want to browse the stickied posts at the top of the W203 forum. Unless the previous owner was an enthusiast who replaced all the random bits that are known to go bad, you have a long journey ahead of you.

I believe the issue with the antenna are for the Coupe ( 2 door Hatch) only. I am not sure if its an issue with the 4 doors assuming the OP has a 4 door I'd check the antenna amplifier fuse I believe its fuse #8 in the rear trunk fuse box.

^ People in sedans have cooked their antenna amplifiers the same way. All it takes is a sloppy tint job. Yes it's harder to do so on a sedan, but not impossible. Also we don't know if this guy has a sedan or coupe.
