I just leased my brand new C230 Sport Sedan this past sunday... its going to be ready Thursday of this week. It has all the packages except Xenons and Navi... and xenons is a problem! i saw a website selling super white bulbs for 10 dollars for each pair of two bulbs.... is it true that i can just buy this and put it in my car that does not have the lighting package??? but i read some forums from this site where people spent 1000+ dollars, thats crazy! do i have to change the whole light? please IM me with any knowledge my AIM screen name is "ComeNrideDiz" - Thanks

hell no! i have the bi-xenon package for my car. i waited for an 03 because i had to have th BIX lighting package. first of all it is a totally different look. 2nd the high beams are xenon aswell as the lo-beam. 3rd, no matter how much you spend on halogen bulbs which clain they have xenon gas in them, you will never get the same amount of light illuminated. xenon is more than a $10 bulb swap.

it's a leased car. are you sure the dealer will let you change the headlights ?

It will look better than stock and if you ever have to return it for anything and you think you'll get in trouble for changing bulbs ( I don't know why), you can always change them back to the originals for that visit and change them again when you get home.

doesnt matter, BIX are still plug and play, then change the comp to xenon=present.

then when you turn the car back in sell the BIX headlights to someone with an 01-06

You can do whatever you want to a leased car as long as when you are through w/ your lease it is back to stock.

Or you can just sell the car yourself and pay it off that way it wont matter regardless.

dont get those cheap bulbs. remember you pay for wat you get for. those cheap bulbs run at a way higher wattage than stock and will burn your wires to a crisp. If you want to upgrade your bulbs get hoen or piaa, they make good quality bulbs

You can get Sylvania Silverstar bulbs that are the same wattage but are whiter if you want and it won't affect anything in your car.
