TEIN SS

I want about 1/4" lower, but Carlsson sent me 5mm spacer instead of 12mm, so right now it's on a 5mm Carlsson spacer and 3mm generic total 8mm. Just waiting for new spacer to come in and I can lower it a little more for the front.

Did it rub when you lowered it down or are you just being conservative?

right now the turn-buckle or whatever u call it is at as low as it can be without touching the inner lip of the wheel. Carlsson sent the wrong spacer to begin with. The 19x8.5's offset is et40 and to clear the coils such as Carlsson's own RS/Bilstein the front needs to be et28. Instead of the 12mm spacer they only sent me a 5mm for the front. Without running coils all you need is 5mm, but with coils you will need the full 12mm.

FRANK!! Hopefully you can help me out with this similar situtation. The lorinser wheels I plan on getting are 35mm offset and same size up front as you 19x8.5's....but instead of a carlsson c/o set-up I have H&R c/o's....will I will need at least at 12mm spacer? Or 15mm to make sure there is enough clearance. Hopefully you can shed some light onto this as I have had absoultely no help from H&R and the suspension thread. P.S. what also happened to the lorinser sale? I never heard back from ya- the list you emailed me never went through

lorinser wheels for the W203 the offset should be et31 all around. If it's et35 you are getting you will need to add a 3mm extra spacer like what I'm doing now. How low can you set depends on the coilovers. some have bigger turn-buckle and some have smaller one.

p.s. I've replied you couple time and haven't heard back from you. did you check your junk mail? Last email I received from you was on 2/11 which was replied on 2/11 regarding the price you were asking about the Limo kit. confirm with me if you didn't receive it and i will resent.

Fine work Frank!
I was following an Infiniti G35 Sedan at about 90mph & when he hit his brakes his LED tail lights including the third brake light flashed a couple of times before lighting up. Is this something that can be retrofitted to MB LED tail lights?

OMG...I just realize I'm an idiot...just realize I put the 12mm spacer for the front wheels to the rear and the rear 5mm to the front. No wonder the coils would hit the wheel...

going to shop tomorrow to change it back.

Frank,

The car looks awesome! Man your car has gone through so many changes in the past year or so. Hopefully I'll see mine change as rapidly.

thanks for the 411 on the taillight wiring. I'm gonna see if I can make the bottoms light up while keeping the functionality of the rear fog.

Anybody know what the stock bulb number for the rear fog is? I'm figuring it's a stock dual filament bulb.

Its just the stock OEM grill painted by a body shop. I looked into getting mine done, but powercoated- however it would have easily in labor hours alone to get the chrome off before painting was $250-$300...plus powdercoating costs. So I'll be doing a DIY lol

I only got them to paint it for less than $100. stripping the chrome and then paint it again would cost way too much. since the paint will still chip.

in California the law requires a front plate, but I never put one on. The only plate that I put on was the Euro plate with our company name on it. Now that plate is on one of our car crew member's car.

Looks awesome! But your car needs a wash.

I guess you will change the rotors in the rear to sorta match things.
