I'll trade you my Bi Xenons for your Engine heh.

Im still going back and forth about the COMAND. But I will most likely bite the bullet. I get lost too much. I just wished it was DVD based!

Noble, got a pic of your car? realized i don't remember seeing your car's pic. lol I'm in the same situation w/ the Comand as well. I've been going back and forth on the topic even before the car went into production. I was gonna get it in the first place, but thought do i really need it and passed. AND then I want it cuz there are some place I don't know how to get to, and then cost a lot to retro fit one, and then want it again because it's cool that you can check the map and stuff, now i still want it. haha BUT probably after i get the other stuff first.

I have only had it for 3 days but it has been very accurate and easy to use so far. You guys can check it out sometime and play with it if you want.

I posted some old pics on mbklasse. Also here when I was showing the drop on the Brabus Springs. Im sure youve seen it. Im going to take lots of pics this weekend, Ima Zaino it and go crazy with the camera.

Yeah I hear you. I put a deposit for Steve for the Comand last year at this time but I backed out. But after thinking about and saving some more money, im saying what the hell, ima go for it. It looks sweet and its a functional mod and for 1500 installed its a bargain.

My sister have the Comand in her 208 CLK320. it's pretty to use i guess, but it doesn't tell you the location it's on the left or right like our ML430's does. Now out ML430's NAV is pretty amazingly accurate.

I still want to get zaino, but I hate ordering stuff online. I just bought one of them Japanese polymer wax and used it a couple time. Maybe I should've wash the car completely clean off the previous wax first cuz the wax although is good, but it doesn't last longer than couple washes.

anywayz...i'm off to bed now. tired...don't know what the hell i'm writing.

btw, I think I did saw your pics lol. just forgot because I didn't reply on your thread. nice ride tho. somehow I always thought you have that black 320 w/ brabus rims.

If you want usability, go aftermarket for the Nav. The Comand is old and outdated. It's CD-based, it's slow, and it has lots of limitations. I get annoyed by it sometimes. The ONLY advantage it has over aftermarket ones is #1, it sits flush, and #2, it integrates with your steering wheel buttons.

You lazy bum! Haha doesn't TWS sell it? If not there's a guy who sells them. He's in Santa Monica:

http://www.lazaino.com/

Trust me, Zaino is good. I had a big fat bird poop on my hood last time. Got lazy and didn't clean it until 3 weeks later (kill me). The thing just slid off with some water. If I didn't have Zaino on there, the thing would've been caked on permanently.

well I started a thread in the EVENT forum, but if you want you can copy the same stuff I wrote and post one here too. It's open to suggestion on date/time/location anywhere in between Pasadena and Irvine as long as the location works w/o cops or rent a cop harrassing us.

I know the Cons: if you only know the name of the location you want to go, it's hard to find it through points of interest. either that or i'm just not use to the thing...lol
