Quote: just so if anyone's wondering I took off the badge when I first got the car and put it back on a year later. I realize I like the badge more.
Can you re-apply badges that have been taken off? Or does the adhesive lose stickiness?

Did you have to get new badges from your dealer, or did you just use the ones you took off originally?

the adhesive will lose it's stickiness once you take it off and you'll have to get a new set of badge if you want to have a even look. if you want to use the one you took off you need to find the right 3M adhesive and align the letter one by one. I got mine from the dealership for free because I had one of those survey thing.

Uhuh. I just got mine. It's sitting right in front of me. I haven't filled it out yet, though.

How do I parlay this little piece of folded paper into free stuff my dealer?

go to which ever dealership you go to and ask your service advisor that you just got a survey thing from mbusa, and he should make you some offer.

Hey Frank,

Back on topic for a minute...

If you have a free minute, could you put a ruler to your fender and tell me how tall and wide the kompressor part of the badge is in centimeters? Just kompressor, not the V6 part. I want to know if the kompressor lettering is the same size as the SLK230's lettering. If they're the same I'll just get SLK230 badges instead.

Thanks!
