W203 Central locking issue
Hi All
New to the forum and hoping some one has solved this issue, I have read up on a few articles but none of it contains the issue I am having.
Have 2004 w203 C230 coupe, send it for a respray and it has come back up with the central locking not working via RF. Only door handles where removed.
Key only works when you point it at the IR receiver on the front door. Central locking working fine with the lock and unlock button in the care
Check and replaced the #8 fuse all ok.
Radio signal works fine.
Disconnected the antenna amplifier on the C post on the Boot Door and then the radio looses signal. connect it up again and its fine, To me this proves antenna amplifier is fine .
Disconnect battery and connected up again, still an issue.
Removed the #8 fuse and tested the radio , radio looses signal, out the fuse back and radio is fine, buts still an issue with the locking via RF,
Any help will be much appreciated
