2004.5?
As I've read more and more posts by other members on this forum, I've noticed a lot of people making the distinction of owning a 2004.5 C class (C320 for example). First, is there an easy way to tell if you have a 2004.5 (I guess that means mid 2004 yr model) or regular 2004 model (whatever that implies). I know I have a 2004 C320 and not sure exactly which category it would fall under. Also, what differences, if any are there in this distinction? (I did buy mine in 8/04, but the car could have been on the lot for awhile I guess).

ya, it only pertains to sport models. To figure out the month/year your car was built in, open the drivers door and on the lower part of the door post there will be a sticker saying "Manufactured in Germany etc..." and on the right of that sticker there will be something that says the month/year(ex. 7/04)...
here's a 2004 C230 Kompressor Sport sedan (this particular car has a trunklid spoiler accessory, not standard)

biggest distinction from an 03 to 04 sport sedan ive noticed from the exterior are the rain sensors and aero wipers. obviously the 04 to 04.5 can be distinguished much easer from the rims, brakes, etc.
