Where did you find the Brabus set? I didn't see it on their Website. I'm curious to see what they look like.

Also, has anyone w/ a 240 or 320 replaced all their pedals yet? Pictures? Details? Total Price?

Thanks!

Looky at that button just to the left of "home" in the upper right corner of your window. I posted at least one pic at some point. A local place that sells Brabus should have their hefty catalogue, which should have pics as well.

And yes, Brabus' website doesn't have crap. They are really lucky that there aren't that many MB tuners out there, and that they all have awful websites/importing from Europe/very bad customer service. They must have conference calls on how to shroud their parts in mystery.

i went to dealer to setup the appointment regarding replacing lose rubber seal on front driver's door... however, i had parts number for sl pedal covers handy with me that i check the price with part guy.
here are the prices..

203-300-01-04 Gas $134.00
230-290-00-82 Brake $8.75 <-now fixed
230-430-00-84 E-Brake $7.75

what do you think? the total will be something like $150+tax.
brabus pedal set cost $50 more..
i am so confusing...

went out today and got a set of aftermarket pedals.. it's made by a japanese company call Levoc.. these are univerial .. i had the same set before on my BMW325i.. so for now i place this on the C240.. tired of looking for the MBZ one and cant stand the rubber ones on the car now.. dont think my dealer can find just the gas pedal without the assy. they are only $50.00 so if i find the OEM set later i will get it then... the pedals just clamp down with some metal strips over the existing pedal.. dont look too bad...if any of you want to see what it looks like... there are some on ebay...just search under "levoc"..have to live without the matching e-brake ...sucks... ..hee got my schatz exhaust tips today too... more toys to play with..

If anyone can find a part no/price on just the gas pedal cover it would be very much appreciated.

I've been waiting to get aftermarket pedals for a while (usually running ~US$50), if I can get the SL pedals for 30-40 it would be a killer deal, but 134 isn't worth it.

Someone posted that the part number for the gas pedal cover was #230-300-0104 but that number is for the whole entire pedal assembly, not just the silver and black cover. My MB dealer said that sometimes on the new model, like the 2003 SL, small part numbers like that wont get individual id numbers right away. They said to wait a month or so until MB figures out it is a seperate part and gives it its own part number. It sounds like some bs to me, but I'll keep trying. I'm already tired of my unmatched pedals. If anyone can figure it out, please post the number asap. Thanks

while i was reading previous post, i realized the numbers are pretty identical...

203-300-01-04 Gas $134.00
230-430-00-82 Brake $8.75
230-430-00-84 E-Brake $7.75

so.. i was thinking that the the number for gas could be
230-430-00-83
if anyone here planning to visit dealer, check this number with your part guy and see what he comes up with...

The part # I used when I ordered the brake pedal cover was #230-290-0082, not #230-430-0082, so I don't think that will work. Let me know if it does though.

i think it is going to be the whole assy .... when you look at the part the pad itself can't be removed without taking the assy. apart... so MBZ might just sell the whole thing

Is the 2003 SL500's Brake and Gas Pedal the same thing as the C7 Evolution pedals on the C230?

Secondly, are there 2 kinds of brakes available? A smaller one for the manual transmission and a larger one for the automatic.

:p i don't think they are the same when i was at the dealer the other day... the sl pedal have larger rubber circles on it and the c230 have smaller ones.. 2003 sl500 only comes in auto..while c230 can be auto or stick..

here's mine installed!

oh, yeah! picked up it tonight and put it on... took about 30 seconds btw, that's the original rubber pad on the left.

also, do you think there is a price difference b/c of your region? i got it at a philly dealership, and i paid $11.50+tax. noticed that the part came from california.
