no the country settings for the security system, and locking features. IMS is one of those security systems. UHI doesnt need to be set in this menu, as far as from what i understand about it. plus i couldnt imagine UHI would be set in this menu if it had to be activated. the phone settings arent where netherlands, mexico etc are.

yeah i will miss my netherlands setting, no more peering my head out the door to make sure the car is locked and listening for the beeps. ill have to walk to the garage! oh well.

yes UHI will work with IMS and Mexico. Sunman has UHI, IMS and a bunch of other mods as you know. his UHI works fine and his settings had to be set to Mexico w/ IMS in order for the IMS to work properly. ill post pics of that install in 2 weeks. im kinda leary about dropping the headliner but sunil said if i can do PTS i can diniately do IMS. its just the sensor, bezel, and wiring harness.

as far as i know, there is no setting with beeps like netherlands, and IMS to work. maybe i can have steve play with it some when he installs my UHI.

if you turn off the speakers you cant hear them. there is no cradle with a phone cord like the integrated phone had.

I just grab the black strip above the rear window to close the hatch.

This mod seems more dangerous than worthwhile to coupe owners. I know I have accidentally hit mysef with the hatch when opening it, I can image taking out an eye with that chrome handle.

LOL - such a drama queen! :p

I really do find it very helpful. Of course, I always open the hatch with my hand, instead of my face.

LOL - smart @$$ :p

I'm tall and have hit my head on the hatch before while it was fully open. That handle would leave a nice gash!

Ban the handle! Its un-safe!

ive never hit myself in the head with the hatch, but i do use the handle that is built into the plastic molding to close my hatch, so i wouldnt see myself using a little chrome handle when i'd probably be wiping off finger prints everytime i used it. it be more trouble than good for me.
