Hey guys,

It's been a while since i post, so here's and update on my pics.

My Baby

Will post more next week after i finish the rest of my mods for now.

Monday - Getting Grill painted Obsidian black to match body ($125)
- 2 tone leather (Ash & Charcoal on front and rear seats as well as center console and Doors ($500)

Tuesday - Window tinted with limo tint (5%), Tinting tail lights & smoking all the chrome around the car to a black chrome ($250)

Wednesday - Change springs to Renntech lowering springs. ($500 installed)

Thursday - 18 in wheels (AT Italia Wind) with center area painted to same Obsidian blackto match body & Tires (Pirelli PZero Corsa) ($1750)

Friday - Getting car finished before my wife gets back from here trip to parents and not killing me (PRICELESS)

The body shop that is painting my grill is painting my wheels at the same time. They are gonna put clearcoat on both as well.

The upholstery shop happens to be next door to the Body shop so they are doing both on the same day.

The window tint shop is going to both the windows and the taillights.
The chrome on the grille and around the car are getting smoked as well to look like a black chrome.

The springs and wheels are getting done at a local shop out here near my office.

I caught the mod bug from you all.

I will have to drive her 300C next week and be with out my Baby.

Damn...most of those are very obvious mods. I've decided to stick to mods she'd never notice recently since I seem to get in so much trouble with wifey over the car. They just don't seem to understand...

Actually she know I am going to do these mods. She just thinks its gonna over a period of time.

I just didnt tell her that is was all in one week. I already have the cash set aside.

She will be more shocked than mad.

She is much more modern than most Indian wives. She is the oen who picked her 300C. (Which I can beat off the line but once we get past 100 she beats me every time)

So I should be ok.

Ya I will its an asain dude that is going to use part of my current leather and then stich in the charcoal inserts. if he was doing it all from scratch it would be mad expensive.

Ketan,
I know the feeling... I've spent quite a bundle in the past 2-3 months. Can't say I'm completely done, but I've dealt with the wife by wining & dining her ! Maybe use the opportunity to lessen the shock factor by taking her out that night. I know, some of you guys will think I'm on crack, but stay with me on this... (it all leads to more MODS in the end! ) Maybe do some house chores, buy some roses, get a haircut, etc... all before she gets back. Then play the Jedi mind trick (not saying she's weak minded, just you need to play the game a little)... the mods are really for her comfort and prestige factor.
- Nice seats for her to sit in;
- smoked lights & chrome trim & black grill to make the car stand out, but not as much as her;
- tinted windows, so no one stares at her from passing cars;
- new springs & wheels for a more comfortable & better handled drive;

let me know if it works. If you still get beat, then join the club !!

ok Guys my wife gets back tomorrow and the car is finished. It looks so perfect. I think I got the Mod Bug out of my system now. (Hopefully)

She gets back at 1 and I have the rest of the day planned.
I pick her up and wisk her off to her favorite spa for a Quick massage and refresshening. Then off to a Boutique where I have picked out a dress for her and it will be fitted while she waits. We then got to Centenial Park in downtown for a romantic Dinenr i am having catered in the park. then we go to a upscale bar for some drinks before heading to her favorite night club. Then back home

I will post some pics (of the car) on Sunday.
