Youndoc, I understand your frustration but let me explain why as I have, more than anyone else on the forum gone through the various scenarios and designed a pulley kit for the M111 motors in the past. Take ASP for example, they make pulley kits for Ford (lightning/mustang) and GM (pontiac/buick) superchargers and other companies that make pulley kits for the BMW Mini. These are similar Eaton units with pressed on s/c pulleys and they also sell/rent pulley extractors to get the pressed on pulleys off. Unfortunately, on the MB's the S/C is in a location that precludes you from getting a pulley extractor in there to do the job. Can it be done, sure, but removing the s/c to remove the pulley is beyond most DIY mechanics, but removing a single bolt to remove the crank pulley is not. Ideally, a kit similar to one the Mini pulley kits would be ideal where they put on a collar on the shaft that allows for the quick changeover of different pulleys (maybe one for racing fuel that's more aggressive, one for economy for long trips, one for everyday driving). Also the collar allows for self centering of the pulley, a problem when you are dealing with pressed on pulleys that maybe installed wrong by 1/8" and cause problems with the belt alignment.

The kit is in development and according to Brad Otoupalik's (Evosport) post (a few posts before you), they are slightly delayed.
His user name is Otoupalik if you want to check out his posts.

Lets say that we have to pull the radiator and some stuff out to get this thing installed - thats still worth it if we can use a $60-$100 pulley to get about 20HP. I bet if somebody does a great write up we could remove the SC or some engine bay components to get the room to remove the pulley. Another option is to see if someone could design a pulley puller to use in such a tight spot. The reason I am really pulling for the SC pulley is that it is safer, cheaper and proven - I think that we are creative enough to come up with a viable installation procedure. An aggressive SC pulley and header should run about $1000 or less - putting us at about 250HP and 300+TQ. From my experience if our exhaust (particularly header) flows well it can handle the more aggressive pulley with few problems. If we get this done we would have a legitimate performance car on our hands.

Renntech has one, from their website - www.renntechmercedes.com
I just got a Renntech installed on my 2002 - got it new off ebay for $720, which was the deal of the century.
Other than that one, maybe ASP has one - not sure about that. But that's it for you guys - you're pretty much screwed, unless Evosport's pulley comes into fruition. I'm not saying it won't, but the target market is very small, especially considering the '06es, of course.

I have recently got myself a Kleemann M271 Pulley Kit with the K-Box, I just can't wait to it fix into my vehicle. I am holding back as it keeps disturbing me whether I should exclude the installation of the K-BOX. I was informed that the K-Box works with the MB stock ECU, however, I had my ECU tuned by MKB of germany. The question is will my engine blow up if the K-Box works with the current MKB ECU with different parameters ?
Without the Kleemann K-BOX, having to install the pulley kit, will there be any noticeable difference ?

Ok guys, here is the update. My vehicle ECU has been fine-tuned by MKB of Germany and obviously the car is very much alive compared to the stock ECU. The throttle response does give it a punch.
I installed the Kleemann M271 pulley kit yesterday and I am not taking any chances to have the Kleemann K-Box fiited in as I am afraid it may not work with the current MKB ECU paramenters installed in my vehicle. However, the Kleemann M271 pulley kit does change the entire car behaviour. The throttle, acceleration is amazing. Now the pulley kit really make a hell lot of difference. I compared the weight of the stock pulley against the Kleemann, the Kleemann is so much lighter.
I will be enjoying the ride this week with the Kleemann pulley kit.
