2005 C230 kompressor coolant problems

Hey everyone! I'm trying to find if anyone has encountered this issue im having with my 2005 c230 Kompressor.
i had an accident passenger front, above the bumper smashed. finished repairs with new expansion tank , radiator, coolant hoses & pipes, new power steering pump. it ran beautiful again. A few days later in my hurry to pick up a girlfriend, i forgot to replace the expansion tank cap drove to Pasadena to find steam and fluid spraying out i pulled over.
After the engine cooled i refilled the fluid put a temporary cap on, reconnected the trans line that shook loose & added trans fluid to proper level and started it. Went home with the serpentine belt squealing like a pig dragged by its tail. Tranny fluid all over the belt from the trans line disconnecting at the radiator. it was reconnected and it held .
i cleaned everything installed a new water pump and thermostat housing filled the radiator fluid started it & it still squealed and before it would reach operating temperature the upper hose blows off at the clip connection the squealing stops feels and runs and is responsive as it should until the water runs out. I tried again same result.

Something's obviously broken. Either the hose isn't connected properly, or the plastic piece is damaged or broken. With the wire clip, it is physically impossible for the hose to just pop off like that if installed properly.

Take a closer look. If I were to guess, the plastic hose connector is damaged.
