Dogg lives right down the street/hill from where i live. and he doesn't have a lot of crome on his car (only the wheel) and his has some fine rides. S500, S600(with nice bodykit, not bad looking at all), CL500, two 996 Carrera, etc.
personally i think the crome side mirror looks good on my dad's JAG XJ-12 and on those S Audi. it is just happened that the shape of the C-class mirror does not bring out the look of the crome mirror cover. if the shape of the C mirror are like those on the S4 it would look great but those shape does not go with the car. So, the crome mirror cover would not look good on the C-class.
