External electric mirror
What would cause the passenger's side external mirror to move left or right but not up or down? My car is a MB 2007 C220 CDi.

The best answers to the types of technical difficulties come from the knowledgeable forum members who best understand the issue.
But it is easier for them to help you troubleshoot when they have accurate and detailed information.
Such as pictures and descriptions of how and when the trouble presents.

Most likely a sticky switch.
Open up the switch and give it a good cleaning. Then add some silicone lubricant.
Basically the problem is there are rubber nubs that depress when a button is pushed. They're supposed to pop back up, but sometimes they don't. At least that's what I found on my car when a mirror started acting up.
