Some speakers not working

My left front door speaker and my rear right door speaker cables arent outputting sound. I have taken the speakers out and switched them around in the doors and its still the same spots that dont have sound. This is a recent development and it was working about a week ago. I looked at all the fuses and I have no blown fuses. I cleaned the connectors of the respective speakers to no avail. I have also made sure that the balance and fader is set to center. What are some good next steps for me to troubleshoot? Im really at a loss as to what could possibly be wrong.

i know for sure that it isnt the harmon kardon system, I did check for the disc changer and the amp and I didnt see them and the speakers seem to be the non upgrade versions.

There seems to have been a rash of failed Harmon/Becker AMP's - mine, for instance had my speakers smoking. I was able to take the amp out of one of my other cars and just plug it right into the E63S.

If you search on eBay (or where ever) for the Harmon/Becker MB amp - there are a ton for around $200 or so.

Is that the amp that was included from the factory without the Harmon Kardon sound system? Because my car doesnt have it and all my speakers I tested on the bench with a seperate speaker amp and they were all normal. Just when theyre plugged into the left front and right rear wires is when they dont do anything

What specific car do you have again? I had that exact amp in my C240, E350, other E350, E63S, and oddly, my old Saab.....

2002 would have either a stock radio or the Bose upgrade. Harmon Kardon is only for the facelifted models (MY2005-2007).

Honestly I'd probably just pick up a used radio online and swap it out. You'll know the problem really quickly.

Did you do any work on the car before this stuff happened?

in the past year ive decked the block, surfaced the head, reseated and replaced the valves, switched the head gasket, flushed and replaced brake fluid and coolant, replaced the front suspension bushings, replaced the tires, replaced the clutch, flushed and replaced rear diff oil, replaced driveshaft flex plate, repaired remoter unlock IR sensors, re upholstered any fabric trim pieces, replaced the headliner, replaced the coolant overflow, and most recently worked on repairing the previous owners damage to the driver side door pannel. If I was to swap the radio would I also pull new wires through with the existing ones? Id be down to do that because I kinda dont love having a phone keypad smack dab in the middle of the dash that doesnt do anything.

Sorry I should've been more specific. If the wiring is acting up I'd be focusing specifically on any work that may have damaged a wire, such as any tasks involving removing the radio.

The fact that the problem is still there despite swapping the speakers would lead me to guess the radio is damaged.

ill be removing the radio today and once its out I can just use a multimeter and figure out where the signal is lost. And if I need to replace it, well I already got it out so Ill be half way done.
