Orion Blue or Granite Grey

Orion Blue or Granite Grey
Help! I keep going back and forth on which to get. I love the Orion Blue and it is my first choice, but do you think it is too flashy? I still want the car to look classy you know. I also like the granite grey a lot since it is different. What do you guys think I should go with?

No, Orion is not flashy. Red is flashy. If you want a distinctive color go with Orion. I have probably seen only 10 of them in the past 5 years. Get it, you know its your first choice. Granite Grey is also beautiful, probably one of my favorite colors next to black opal and tectite grey.

Orion Blue is by far the best color for the Coupe, but I have only seen one sedan in Orion Blue.
If I were to buy a Sports Sedan, I would get it in Bordeaux Red, now that's classy.

Good Choice!
Try sitting in the lighter color interior before you decide...
I love how light and airy it is with the sun shining in through the moonroof....

I would go for the granite grey, in this part of the country (raleigh, nc) its not very common, at least not on the 230wz's. I like how it looks different depending on the light. I'm also partial to ash interiors, this is my 3rd benz with that color, but then again, im the only one in the car so i don't have to worry much about dirt.

Much as I love my Silver....but damn that Granite Grey is tight. Not too many of that color regardless of class round these parts. If only I..errrr, my wife, could have waited ong enough to order one.
Maybe my tranny leak will be such a hassle they'll have to trade it for granite grey....one can only hope.

Go Granite
I'm biased since I chose Granite myself, but I think it's the way to go for several reasons.
1) lot's of compliments. Here in ATL C-Classes and BMW 3s are very pedestrian, but I do get tons of compliments on the color (with my old pre-family, Boxster S it was "nice car!", now with the C320 it is "nice color!" -- oh well).
2) Rare color. Still have only seen 2-3 other MBs total on the road with Granite, all models. This color is very different but still understated and classy -- it is an avenue to have your car stand apart from the crowd a bit if you don't want to mod or get a color that screams "look at me!"
3) Relatively easy to keep looking good. Doesn't show swirl marks or scratches, and you can go quite a while between washings if you have to. When it's dirty you don't get that slight blue hue in sunlight, though.
As others have said though, go with your personal preference -- always the best choice.

Besides, that gray is a very common color on 3 series, and it's becoming very common on other makes as well - look at all of the Jetta/Golf/Beetles running around with it, well until they break down, of course.

Orion is different, in a good way. MB has way too many blacks/slivers/grays, imho, and should vary up the pallette some. Same deal with the interior - BMW has many more selections - I love their burgundy leather interiors.
