Mercedes C32SC AMG
Mercedes C220 CDI
Just bought Mercedes Benz C220 CDI, well, car is quite OK, its fully loaded ( Navigation, DVD, bright blue leather, CD...just everything ). What do you think about this car? Anyone on a board here has the same car?

By the way, also have a Mercedes C32 AMG SportCoupe, actually was C320, its a long story...
I bought 1year old C320 Coupe for very low price from my friend, because it was really "cheap" for me I decided to "rebuild" it to C32AMG, how? Its very simply, I just went to my local Mercedes-Benz dealership ( I come from Prague, Czech Republic ) and asked them if its possible, they told me yes, and the price was 9500EU. I had to give them a car, wait 3months...Well, I did it, so now I have C32AMG SC, previously C320, but interior is still same, standart MB tachometer, seats, just everything like stock C320.
Dont want to speak about my third car, MB S430, just nothing special, 1999 S430 without any upgrades, stock version, was using as an every day car, but then decided to buy C220CDI ( for every day driving through the city.. ).
Hope didnt you get bored....

Would love to see pics of your C32 engine, and what other C32 SportCoupe options the factory was able to install in your C320 Coupé.

Have you seen the Brabus catalog with the V8 Coupe? 6.1 L V8 with 11:1 compression ratio, 426 HP, 0-60 in 4.4 seconds, top speed 301 km/h.
Actually the 0-60 time must have been done with a rear end using a 3.06 ration, otherwise it would have been faster. A 3.67 rear end would be something like 3.9 seconds!
You can easily buy the components to make your C320 into a C32, or get the CLK 55 engine and stuff it in. Or go wild and get an E55 engine
Now that we know the V8 engine will fit in our coupes without lengthening the front end like the C55, the sky is the limit.

I have also a C220 CDI, but the older version with 143bhp.
The car and engine are great, but what do you think about the new engine?
Mine have a lot of torque at 2000-2500rpm but in higher rpms (4000-4200) it don't have lungs. What about the new engine?
I'm thinking installing a power chip on it and then it will have a lot of power and torque (170Bhp and aproxi. 450Nm)
Another thing, How big are the avi files? you could send it to me and I will post them in my website.

"Old C220CDI" vs "New C220CDI" > I have never driven older W203 model of C220 CDI. Engine is pretty powerfull comparing to another diesel engines like Passat 2.0TDI. But what I like is the way car drives, its really comfortable, it looks very nice, I have AMG Package (exclude sport suspension, just exterior). Dont really see any reason to buy an E220CDI instead of C220CDI. This is a perfect car for city driving, horrible sports car (I dont have "sport suspension") so its very comfortable, but its just not the best in fast driving....I also save much money.
Had some problems with navigation, strange dots on the screen, went to service, they removed all with navigation and they puted new one, but I still have some problems with it, so I will solve it....
Rebuilding C320 to C32AMG> you can choose almost everything, everything depends on amount of money you would like to spend, you can change everything, interior, exterior, just whatever, then people wont recognize that you had just stock C320 before.
I have also driven C30CDI AMG SC > such as a nice car! I loved it. 3.0 Liters diesel engine, 6.8seconds to 60Mph, max. speed 155 (limited). Price under 45k USD. But you can buy this car only in Europe.
