This question has come up numerous times. You best bet is to spend some time in the picture thread, searching through it.

No flame but lets see.

In his own words he bought the cheapest benz. Willing to spend up to 1/2+ of his used car price on new rims and tires. Not worried about monthly rim/tire payments which can run as high as $250+/month including tires based on a 4 year note.

Am I missing something here?

well, im planning to fix it up...and do a lot of mods.... so if i get a mid range mercedes, i wouldnt have a money to do some mods and play around with it.
i would get stuck in just plain stock mercedes. i got my car new actually..i just didnt get to the forums because i didnt have any questions about the car until now that i thot about putting some mods.
...im sorrie to confuse you.

2002 C230 Coupe(M111)
Get a set of used 17" C7's from a C-COupe, or the newer 5spoke 17's from a sport sedan. Both look really good on the Coupe. Stop putting your car down, its still an MB, faster than both the C240, and C230SS, and a cool looking ride. With a simple pulley change it makes 235HP, and still gets 30mpg.

Don't slam youre own ride....the others here will do that enough

Try MBKlasse, its a much better site!
