Have anyone bought a MBZ from South Bay Mercedes in Torrance, California?
Was it a good or bad experience?
They are offering me a good deal on a 02 C320, but, I want to hear some inputs, before heading down there. I live closer to Flecther Jones and House of Imports but my experience with them has not been phenomenal

I was originally going to order my car from South Bay but after talking to a sales guy over there he told me that there would be a $10k premium while HOI will sell me the car at straight MSRP. Can't believe you didn't have a good deal at the House Of Imports. That's were i got mine and the experience was great! Pls you get free beverages.

So i would never buy from MB South Bay.

my family got three of our cars (C32, CLK320, ML430) from HOI, so i would recommand you to go back to HOI again.

this time try Andrew Lian, i got my C32 from him. his office is in the right hand side building. you have to go in there and ask someone to page him for you because he is not a floor sales.

BTW Andrew is looking to sell his C32. maybe you can get his C32

no Command...but he does have some impressive sound system mod, H&R springs, 19' rims (forgot what its called but it's made by BBS)

i think he is selling it at the original msrp not sure...the car only has 3000 miles on it.
the reason he wants to sell the car is because he has a E500 on order.

BTW his C32 is debadged

he did....dang...that was fast...i was there last weekend (not the memorial weekend) just when he first told me he wants to sell the car...and yeah...he's a great guy...funny too...i like the way he mod his ML430 with Brabus kit...and his BLK Brabus CLK320

BTW i was there with my dad to pick up our ML430 that were in for service. i also got a car wash for my car...i have to say HOI washes the car pretty well.

That's amazing. I bring my car there once in a while for a car wash too. Great service! And yeah his truck looks awsome with those Antera wheels and scorpion tires as well as body mods. Maybe we'll meet up one time there?

I would recommend south bay mercedes in a heartbeat because of their service and large inventory. The salesperson was great!! She showed me the invoice price, gave me a great deal, and the rest is history.

maybe...i'll have to wait till my stupid finals are over and when the school is out...

i'm only home during the weekend.

i think those 18' Antera still looks small on his ML...maybe it's because of those fat Pirelli tires or the design of the rim...just like those two front rims on my C32...damn do they look small or what.

Actually i think those are 21's or 22's Antera on his ML. And you should get at least 19's on your C32's!

i remember he told me it was 18's...anyway...i'll get those 18's from the new SL500 sport after my stock Pilotsport tires worn out and that'll be another year or something...

19's are just too big for me...

BTW what kind of rims are you using?

Are you kidding me!? 19's on that C32 will look awsome! You've seen his C32 with that 19" mesh design and it looked pretty sweet! You really should go with 19's. As for me right now i'm using stock 18's monoblock. But i will be changing this within the next few months. hehehe

i know the 19's will look much better...but with the little sidewall on the 19's and no spare on my C32...i'll be much comfortable with the 18's... just knowing that the fact that i won't have to avoid potholes as much.

Getting back to MB of South Bay...
I bought my E320 at MB of South Bay in February. It was the worse car buying experience I've ever been through. The salesman promised me he'd lower the price on my vehicle if I found it listed at a lower price on the Internet. I found it at a lower price on their website but he wouldn't rewrite the sales contract. When I threated to cancel the sale, he became hostile and told me that I couldn't cancel the contract and if I tried, MB of South Bay would take me to court--adding that they've had plenty of experience dealing with dissatisfied customers like me, that I don't have any recourse and that I should call my lawyer to verify this. Not only would I be slapped with a civil lawsuit but if I tried to cancel the check I wrote for the car (I paid for the car with cash--no trade in and no financing), I would be prosecuted in criminal court because canceling a check is a "federal offense under California State law." Naturally, I cancelled the check.

About a week later the sales manager and I worked out a deal and I got the car but the whole experience left me with a bad attitude toward MB of South Bay. they almost had me driving an Audi.
