2003 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro
I know this is an old thread but I just wanted to say as an Audi owner considering a C Class it was great to see people so open to the benefits of both cars. Having just spent a week looking around the BMW forum I cannot say the same about them...

I decided against the 325xi after so many horror stories about how bad the service was, and how little BMW NA was interested in their customers.

An Audi A4 is just a nicely equipped VW Jetta just like the Toyota Camry is to the Lexus ES330. The C-Class is just...well...a Mercedes-Benz.

I had to add a comment to this -- we had an Audi A4 (2001 MY) 1.8T. Zippy fun little car, but the thing went through a $1,000 "lightbulb" each year -- the center gauge display screen they called a lightbulb. Loaner cars here were Ford Tauruses (which were beat into the ground), and by the end of our lease, that car wasn't holding up too well at all - and we had only put 26k miles on it in the 39 months...

I went and test-drove the new A4 sedans and wasn't as pleased with the ride and fit and finish as much as the new 05/06 MY MBs...Now my current MB, I just bit the bullet and bought more miles for my lease...so I now have a 39mo/55k mile lease... what can I say - this car is just too darn fun to drive!

You really are asking for the word Chrysler to be brought up.
