I beleive just the Audio 10 has RDS, the base one does not..

No, it does not. I have no idea why the idiots at MB didn't put that in... Other cars have had this for years, even Chevy's.

Euro COMAND 2.0 has RDS as well. i cant believe the 2005 radios dont have it! that's dumb!!

hell, chryslers, dodge and jeep have RDS, why doesnt MB??????

This shows - yet again - what kind of ******* are running MBUSA. RDS has been around for over 10 years in the rest of the world.

i guess the only way to get it is to have sirius installed. that way you have it when you are on SAT.

my moms 2005 Grand Cherokee has RDS.

Audio 10 has RDS. Satellite radios use a different data system - it is all digital from the get-go, not really RDS, but sure delivers (at least) the same information.

i know Sat radio doesnt have RDS, but like you said its basically the same feature. title and artist. RDS does advertising too on some stations ive noticed.
