is this quote good?
i got a quote from a MB dealer in Toronto area
i chose
1. c230k auto
2. seat right front elect adj/memory
3. memory package
4. heat seats
5. sunroof
6. evolution package
total = $41195 CND
with PDI, licence fee, fuel tax, ..etc.
put $10000 CND downpayment
$3850 security deposit (11 deposits)
lease for 24 months
monthly payment $307.73 (tax included)
buyout for $28012.60 CND
is it considered a good quote ?

Im just wondering, if your willing to put down $14,000 why not just buy the thing. I leased a car once and it was a pain, at the end of the lease it could end up costing you more money if something is wrong with the car.

I just picked mine up yesterday from the Oakville dealership. Got the Evolution, auto, leather, cd changer, alrm, bose system, metalic paint (free), and winter mats (free). Price came to $41500 + tax. No money down
Had to pay $3600 for gas tax and all that other garbage.
36mth lease $720/mth tax in.
It sounds to me like a standard quote.
Did the dealer give anything for free???

huh i got a c240 metallic black, cd changer(free), mats(free)
and leather for 41,500 plus tax
i put down $7000 and pay $650 per moth 36 mth lease
did i get jipped?

I dont know, but it seems a bit too hight with so much down. Did you check the mercedes site and see what the "build your own" feature is gona calculate it for.

if i have that much cash with me, why would i consider
leasing it?.... i'm just a student in university trying to
lease a C230 coupe by myself without parents' money
plus, i dont think my parents will pay me for it since they dont
think a student should drive a MB around ...they think
a student only needs a $10000 car.~~
i think the monthly payment $307 is not bad..but the
due upon delivery charges = $17000 ( the quote they gave
included everything )...is kina high.~~...
if i have the cash, i'll buy it off right away..since it's
got high resale value...

i have black c230 coupe with leather with sunroof with evo package and rain sensor... but i have 14.5 % tax....
damn urs is so much cheaper..

SHOP AROUND!!!! That is the key. I turned down several cars before I found the right deal and I got an awesome deal. Wait until the last day of the month. Car salesmen are always more proned to give a better deal then because they want to get the commission and months end is the cutoff. You can always work out a better deal if play hardball with them. You might not be the most popular person at the Benz dealership, but I'd rather save the $$$ myself and spend it on mods!
