2003 C240
Thinking of trading W203 for W210 E55!!!!
I got a 2003 C240 with the AMG skirt package, 18" VI replicas, and bi-xenons. Car looks great but lacking in the hp department. I found a 2000 E55 for a decent price which i'm thinking about trading in my C240 for. I like the power of the E55 and the added space but the only thing making this decision tough is the fact that body of the W210 looks dated. What would you guys do?

Id keep the c240(as i like smaller cars), but if you still like the E55 body style, get it. In the end, whatever is going to make you happy. Remember, you only live once.
Good luck with your decision.

05 c230 ss benzo blk/opal
Tough choice....
I had the same problem before I bought my c230, but I chose c230 because ne style, new options, better looking, more younger feel to it. I'm only 25 and when I dorve the 99 e55 it a great performer, but too bland. I felt like an old bald man in that car. Can't explain it.... everything looked good on paper, but when I drove it..... too big, too dated too bulky. I would have to spend a couple more g's to maybe chrome the rims or paint something?>/>
UNLESSSSSSSS........ the one you saw has those cool black and white two tones seats OH my GOD Gorgeous and gives car personallity. The one I drove did not have it..... and be careful those cars suffer from an infamous benzo plague....... The almighty mass airflow sensor....... Car will shut off on you while it is running.... very dangerous and stupid if you ask me for a car of that caliber.

C55 AMG, 135i, 911 GT3, GLE43 AMG
depends....
Hey polar240.
I thought you didn't want to have a fast car.....heheheh. (At least that's what I recall when we last met).
You'll have to decide what's more important: style (W203 C240 with your bling bling rims and AMG skirts), or power to blow people away while looking a bit bland (W210 E55).
It depends on your finances. If you have enough $$ to mod the W210 E55 after your trade-in, you can make it look more stylish.

2002 C230 Coupe(M111)
As fast as the E55 is, it can afford to be a little bland. Besides, the fact that it looks like any other E Class is in your favor....folks never see it coming.

2003 C240
I visited the dealer again and they forgot to mention that it had a factory warranty issued odometer swap. Apparently the 2000 model is known for fuel gauge failure and the only remedy is to swap the entire dash/odometer assembly. At this point, I feel that my C is outweighing the W210 option.
Thanks for all the input.
