Thanks. My friend has a bodyshop in San Francisco and he painted them for me for free. Actually it just a thin layer of gray followed by clear coat. So now I have to wax the taillights as well.

how would that look? i mean im only getting it done because it has the distinct "AMG" look to it. i dont know if u guys know what im talking about but the new SL63 AMG has the clear part of the tail-lights smoked and that looks really good IMO. im just wondering how good it would look with lamin-x film

are you trying to get the effect similar to the Bullit tail lights?
I think one cheap way to get that effect is with this Chrome Rear taillight and maybe spray paint the chrome black?

Hi - her's a couple more pics - painted grill black and fitted 18" copy wheels. I figure if I kerb them I could replace easier. I've a tunit kit fitted taking power to about 200bhp and keeping the average fuel consumption to a respectable 42mpg. I would like a rear spoiler and like to know if the AMG 6.3 steering wheel would fit my humble diesel.
