Black is a very classy color. Stunningly beautiful to the eye. BUT, I would not own a black car for the following reasons:
1. It is very hard to keep clean. (Stunningly beautiful lasts for a few hours after you wash it.)
2. Black shows scratches and dings much worse than other colors (white, grey, or silver).
3. Black is really hot in the sun, especially in the lower latitudes. Those who live in the north are not bothered by this as much.
4. Those of us who live in the scorching desert areas (New México, Arizona, etc.) will have problems with the paint fading after a few years. This is a problem on the roof, hood, and trunk lid.
